Service Technician – Traveling Field Job in Industry

We are looking for a service technician for our field service in industrial facilities. This is the job for you who enjoys being on the road, working practically, and solving technical problems where they actually arise – out in the real world.

You will start from the workshop, but most of your working hours will be spent on assignments around the country. One week you might be at a facility in the north, the next in the south. You will work closely with colleagues who are used to field life and support each other.

This is as much a lifestyle as it is a job.

This is how you work

• About 150 travel days per year with overnight stays

• Travel weeks usually Monday–Thursday

• Your own modern, fully equipped service vehicle

• Freedom with responsibility – you plan and solve the work on-site

The work takes place in production-close industrial environments where safety, quality, and professional skills are crucial.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with service, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment at customer sites.

Examples of tasks:

• Mechanical maintenance and service

• Troubleshooting and emergency repairs in the field

• Dismantling and assembling machine components

• Installations and modifications

• Function checks and technical documentation

No week is the same — you will encounter new environments, new facilities, and new technical challenges.

We are looking for someone who

You are a person who feels more comfortable in safety shoes than in an office chair. You enjoy traveling for work, taking responsibility, and solving problems independently.

We believe you have:

• Experience in mechanical work, service, or assembly

• A background in industry, workshop, or maintenance

• Good collaboration skills and comfortable in customer environments

• The ability to work independently and make your own decisions

Requirements

• Driver's license B

• Technical or mechanical interest

Meritorious

• Experience in field service

• Industrial background

• Reading blueprints or machine maintenance
